Peter Moser Affidavit

County of Forsyth
Be it known that on this 28th day of March AD1857 before me Peter tuttle a Justice of the peace within and for the county aforesaid personally appeared Peter Moser aged seventy one years last April a resident of the county of Forsyth and state of North Carolina he being duly sworn according to law, deposeth and saith that he remembers well the time when his uncle Michael Moser and his wife Catherine together with his uncle Henry came from the state of Maryland to his father Peter Moser dead about the year 1789 or 1790 and his uncle Michael put his beds and other ##### that he brought into his father's smoke house until he got a better place.

his uncle Michael and his wife Catherine had only one child and that is the identical Elizabeth Moser who now has made the Declaration for Pension in right of her mother for military serving done by his uncle Michael in time of the Revolutionary War.

the said Elizabeth is about the same age of him this affiant as they were play mates together . she grew up and married her cousin Henry Moser now dead.

A brother of this affiant understood that they had another older child called John who died in Maryland.

there was about eight or nine years lapsed between the age of Elizabeth aforementioned until the next child Polly was born or perhaps ten years. Next was Catherine and the last was Jacob all living in forsyth and Stokes county except Polly who was married to _____ Fiscus and removed to Indiana.
